Shooting boudoir photographs on location gives some opportunities to use things that you just do usually have in the studio. In this case I had access to a sauna.
Often lighting can be a problem in small locations such as this, so you do have to get a bit creative. The sauna seemed to small to bring lights into, and lighting thru the small door didn’t look like it would work as that is where I was going to stand.
The solution was to bounce most of the light into the space instead of using a direct line of fire. Often we forget that light does bounce and can usually be bounced into needed locations. I find the end result worked creating very soft shadows on the rear wall.
